Having headed out of Aston Villa ahead of the deadline day slamming shut in August, youngster Mitch Clark had already hit the ground running at Port Vale and had begun winning over their fans with his performance as I covered it earlier this month.

The 19-year-old now has six appearances to his name and has very quickly established himself as a reliable go-to for manager Neil Aspin and the Welsh lad is showing no signs of slowing down as he again came in for significant praise following his performance against Northampton Town last weekend.

They won the game 2-0 and there was little to fault in his individual showing.
Taking to social media to celebrate their third win of the 2018/19 League Two campaign, it was Clark’s second involvement in returning all three points, with six played he’s helped play his part in seven points and he’s only going to get better with experience.
Well done you’ve done nothing but impress since you’ve been here, top man keep it up. Score against Crewe you’ll be a hero

Outstanding, if Manny hadn't scored, I would have had you pegged as man of the match. Just hope you stay for the season and don't get recalled by Villa. UTV

Wanting him to sign so early on shows just how well he’s doing.
