The draw for Euro 2008 qualification groups has been made.

England will start the qualification matches with a new manager as Sven is ‘quitting’ at the end of the World Cup.

Qualifying starts on September 2 2006 and ends on November 21 2007.

England have been drawn in group E to face Croatia, Russia, Israel, Estonia, FYR Macedonia and Andorra.

That may involve Villa ‘old boy’ (who was never really played!) Bosko Balaban.

Wales and Republic of Ireland are in the same group D. Villa defender Mark Delaney is bound to be involved.

Steven Davis could face Olof Mellberg in group F as Sweden and Northern Ireland are both in that group.
