29 y/o Set For Swift £5m Villa Departure According To Reports

|

With plenty of speculation about potential incoming goalkeepers so far this summer at Aston Villa, the futures of both Orjan Nyland and Lovre Kalinic have been in doubt – especially given the way Jed Steer stepped up in the second half of last season.

With 29-year-old Croatian international Kalinic being the first permanent signing under Dean Smith last January, it seems if one of the two is likely to be off, it’ll be Kalinic first and the Birmingham Mail have said he could be available for just £5million as we look to move him on quickly given we’re already bloated in the goalkeeping departure and Jack Butland speculation doesn’t seem to be going away.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen speculation about Kalinic’s departure but it does seem like the rumours are growing and let’s face it, the injury didn’t help him settle in but we only saw glimpses at best from him.

Sometimes transfers don’t work out and Villa have had more than their fair share recently.
