The win v Sunderland away last night just could not have been easier really.

In fact, much obliged to Chris Coleman and his team for giving Villa a little jog around the pitch and all 3 points. NO disrespect to the Sunderland fans, they deserve better, but plenty of disrespect to the way their club have been run down, not that many of their players did much running.

And back to Villa, as said, that was not only easy but ideal preparation for the upcoming massive (shall I use the cliché of 6 pointer?!) against ‘mind the gap` (we are minding it Wolves fans, we are) Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday. A win v them will really put the cat amongst the pigeons wouldn`t it?

Great to see how Bruce followed (am I really about to say this?) my advice (yup, looks like I am!) and didn`t play Jack Grealish from the start, nice to have been able to come on and push his match fitness ready for the weekends battle royale…

Below, we have the highlights, Steve`s thoughts on the game and a nice clip of the team coming off after going to the Villa faithful. What more could you ask for?

Steve Bruce showing the togetherness and thanking the fans:

Steve Bruce`s opinion on the match:

Nice he is still looking for more, saying we didn`t play as well as he`d have liked, but job done.
