So the press are having a field day linking James Milner to all and sundry at all sorts of prices, with one bid confirmed by Aston Villa from Manchester City.

The latest I saw was from a gossip site saying that Manchester United will bid £28million. IF Man Utd come in for him, I can’t see him not wanting to move to be honest, he is the obvious ‘replacement’ for Paul Scholes who was their midfield master for many years obviously.

And that leads us nicely into the last poll which asked:

What would you sell James Milner for?

41% said ‘no price’ although as a club and business, even the very biggest know that every player has a price. I would assume that the price it is worth selling him on at will be the managers decision.

22% said they’d sell him if £30m was bid, another 22% only if £40m was bid.

That left 8% willing to sell him for a popular press quoted figure of £24million and 7% were as good as saying get lost, as they said they’d only sell at £50m

Our latest poll asks which position do we need to get summer signings in for this transfer window?
