A Delighted Scott Hogan – And Rightfully So

Scott Hogan interviewed after the 5-0 thrashing of Bristol City. As you can see from the video, he says he thinks the win in that style has been coming:

He also talks about playing with freedom and enjoying it. That`s what a lot of us have banged on about for a very long time. Just let them go out full of confidence and go for it. With Grealish and Hourihane being given more license, it made us a different team. Lovely to see Hogan score as well and he adds he`ll always work hard and wants to reward the fans as he`s not done what he`s wanted to so far.

Myself and Deanovilla have a few quid on him being first scorer. £50 win. Nice, thanks Scott!

And quite rightly he says he needs a run, it`s difficult to stay sharp when you aren`t starting. Hopefully this is the start of a great run for Hogan, goodness knows we need the striker to lead the line for us with Kodjia out with a long term injury. I was arguing about Scott in the forum as some say he`s not good enough. There is a pattern with strikers, we buy them, don`t play to their strengths and they fail. I don`t think this game is rocket science, get the striker the right supply, they`ll do the rest.

Buzzing for Scott after yesterday and now we can hopefully look forward to seeing him try to catch up Albert Adomah on the top scorer list.
