A Little Less Conversation Mr Agent

A little less conversation please Mr Agent.

Pavel Paska, who is agent to Villa striker Milan Baros, is getting a little bit too vocal in the press for my liking, he seems to forget Aston Villa are the people who pay his clients wages and deserve a bit more respect than him explaining what is happening to Baros to the press, he should be making these representations to the club only surely?

Paska has said the Czech Republic international hit man is a target for Chelsea but says Villa won’t sell him unless they get a replacement. In truth they should be selling him anyway, how will the buy one sell one policy (used to no great effect by the old regime) ever allow us to build a larger and better squad?!

The 25-year-old, according to some reports, has already turned down moved to Real Sociedad, although I’m sure I saw Martin O’Neill deny that somewhere.

Paska told sport.cz, which obviously I subscribe to!

‘The talks are not easy, they will continue on Tuesday or Wednesday. I will give you an example, we were realising Tomas Rosicky’s move to Arsenal for two years. Everything needs time. At present, we are waiting until Aston Villa find an adequate replacement for Milan.’

Adding ‘It is very likely that if this does not happen, there will be no progress in negotiations.’

Even Milan’s parents have got into the act as his mom Radka Barosova, said: ‘Milan told us that on Christmas Eve, as he confirmed Chelsea were interested in him. He did not want us to speak about it anywhere, so we did not even tell our daughter. We will see how it turns out. It would be great if it turned out well. I think the manager O’Neill doesn’t have much confidence in him. Milan would certainly gain new motivation somewhere else.’

According to the Mirror, Lyon and Chelsea are locked in a battle to sign the striker.
