A round up of the Vital Villa podcasts on our Youtube Channel (please subscribe, we crave your love!) with our thoughts on the arrival of the new Villa boss, Steven Gerrard.
Looking for a cohesive unit, something that Dean Smith seems to have lost, a fair bit, in 2021… so we look towards the new set up, and how he set up at Rangers, to bring us hope for our future shape:

Vital that he brings the most out of our top summer signings.
And then we look at what we really need, a midfield enforcer? Could Gerrard bring out the best in Douglas Luiz? Will we perhaps return for Ward-Prowse in January, or the the summer?

The impressive part with Gerrard is he appears to be a proper leader, as I say, he obviously has no insecurities in bringing the best to be around him. Michael Beale being a very rated coach and perhaps a future manager, our future manager even?
