Apparently Stan Collymore has just said on Talksport that Villa, along with Spurs, want to talk to …..

drum roll…..

Emile Heskey….

The 30-year-old is a big bruiser of a player, with the right supply and on his day he can be great, but as others far greater than me have said, the player doesn’t believe in himself and that has stopped him from going on to be a great striker.

His strike rate is also poor:

Heskey, if fit, might not actually be a bad shout. Our supply might get him going. Trouble is he spends half his time injured.

Leicester 154 games 40 goals, so not far shy of 1 in 4 (poor ratio)
Liverpool 150 games 39 goals, so again 1 in 3 1/2 games roughly (poor judging by the quality of players supplying)
City, 68 games 14 goals, he really was pants there, think nearly a whole season with only 1 or 2 goals? less than 1 in 4 (awful)
Wigan, 65 games, 13 goals, 1 in 5 (dire)

Ok, on second thoughts, lets not!

Source wiki and I think that is in all competitions.
