Marc Albrighton has insisted he didn’t make the most of Karl Henry’s kick in the Wolves match and he was disappointed that ‘some’ thought he did.
Speaking to the E&S Albie said.
‘It does hurt a lot, especially when people in the crowd call you a cheat when I was the victim on the floor getting kicked. It hurt when I read the papers, but I suppose that’s football. It does spur you on to do better when people are booing you and calling you a cheat.’
Albrighton added with a class that seems to elude Henry.
‘He just maybe lost his head a little bit. I hold no grudges against him whatsoever.’
In an interview with Sky they carry comments with Albie saying he has a nice bruise from the incident, but Henry maintains he made the most of it even though he now admits he was a silly boy.
