Enda Stevens has said he is hoping to give Paul Lambert a selection headache as rumours persist of us signing a new left back.
Following his competitive start for Villa against Tranmere, Stevens told the Official Site he was looking for more pitch time now so he can really push on.
‘It was a long wait, but I was just happy to play. Obviously I got my chance and showed what I could do. There were no nerves really and I am going to keep pushing and keep training the way I have been and hopefully my chance comes again. Hopefully it’s the first of many. I am going to keep giving the gaffer a headache to pick me.’
