Another Blow For Hepburn-Murphy

Young striker Rushian Hepburn-Murphy has suffered another injury setback as he looks to get himself going in the Aston Villa first team this season.

Manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that he’s suffered another setback and having picked up a thigh strain, the youngster won’t be available for selection for the remainder of this month.

Having been sidelined with various injuries over the past year, Bruce is quoted by the Birmingham Mail admitting that his injury record is becoming a concern.

‘It`s a bit of a concern because he keeps picking up these niggling injuries. He`s got a pulled thigh muscle and I can`t see him being available for at least another month. It`s a shame because of all the young ones I`ve heard about, he`s the one everyone talks about.’

Hepburn-Murphy became our youngest Premier League debutant when he was picked by Tim Sherwood back aged 16 and big things are expected from the lad if he knuckles down and continues to work hard, but of course he needs to get and keep himself fit.

‘I`ve hardly been able to see him because he`s had all different injuries which is frustrating. I just haven`t seen him play enough over the last eight months and now he`s still out for a matter of weeks.’

Hopefully his luck will turn now.
