Aston Villa have been brilliant in recent weeks and we are all looking forward to seeing how the club is going to do in the coming games.

The Villans have a real chance to get into the Premier League via the play-offs now and there seems good cause to suggest that we are going to do it.

One thing is for certain, though, we will need to strengthen the side ahead of the new campaign but it looks as though we have missed out on one reported target.

France Football claimed earlier this season we were interested in Harold Moukoudi but it looks as though that ship has sailed and we have missed out on him.

According to Le Parisien, he has agreed a deal instead to sign for French giants St. Etienne as they look to compete in Europe next season.

To be fair, we can’t offer that next year, and so it looks as though this is one we won’t see.

  • French giants St Etienne??? Hahahahaha, who writes this stuff!? Good luck to him, he clearly doesn’t want to test himself if he wants to remain in Ligue 1, take out PSG, Monaco (at times) and Marsielle (at times) and you have the Championship…..not saying we can offer him Prem football yet, but surely he should go to a better club than St Etienne

    • “Saint-Étienne have won a record ten Ligue 1 titles, as well as six Coupe de France titles, a Coupe de la Ligue title and five Trophée des Champions. Saint-Étienne has also won the Ligue 2 championship on three occasions.” Pretty big…?

  • DELUSION. I f you think he would rather test himself in the championship then in ligue 1 with the likes of Neymar, mbappe, payet, falcao and Balotelli. You should know more about a club before you make a dimwitted comment. You think he’d rather play in the championship with Villa then Europa league or potential champions league football next season with St Etienne your just another delusional Aston Villa fan.
