40% were bang on the money as Aston Villa earnt a hard fought 1-0 victory over the Toffees and rose to 3rd in the Premiership.
I think I’ll repeat that, Aston Villa rose to 3rd in the division. AND all that with a fair few injury problems today.
Villa have played 12 games, won 5, draw 6 and lost just once (against Liverpool).
This was Villa’s first away win this term and what makes it even more impressive is that this was Everton’s first home loss of the season.
If you’ve not seen it already, trust me, watch the pass/cross by Isaiah Osbourne to Chris Sutton. The chip was inch perfect and Sutton just needed the deftest of touches to glance the ball into the back of the net via a sweet header.
