I didn’t realise we had a rap star at Villa. I say star, I mean… what on earth is this?!
Anyway, Sky Sports have reported that Atalanta have wrapped up (or rapped up?) the £3.75m signing of Pierluigi Gollini.
The 23-year-old moved back to Italy on an 18-month loan and they have now, thank goodness, triggered the clause giving them the option to buy him.
It wasn’t to be at Villa, he looked pretty helpless in fact, but hopefully he goes on and has a good career. No malice, just good to get another wage (in loans, the parent club often still pay a percentage of the wages – for those that don’t know) off our bill and a bit of money incoming, judging by the financial hardships we appear to have found ourselves in.
The news on the rap seems to be getting more attention and fun on twitter than the transfer!
