Good heavens, some transfer talk!

The Daily Mail say that Villa are after £3.5million rated Manchester United and Republic of Ireland midfielder Darron Gibson. Apparently the 23-year-old isn`t required at Utd.

skysports.com understands Aston Villa have rejected a loan offer from Olympiakos for Jean Makoun. McLeish didn`t rule out selling him when asked last week and this report has a source close to Makoun saying he is flattered by the interest. He did also say he was going nowhere as well though! Makoun: I`m going nowhere

Skysports ‘understand` ! … that QPR want 32-year-old full back Luke Young. Apparently McLeish would be willing to sell him and bring in Spurs defender Alan Hutton as a replacement.

Another report say that Manchester City are now interested in Scott Parker, a player linked with us several time. Not sure, if they buy more they have to get rid of some. Sadly it sounds like James Milner is playing well and very much in their plans, so no chance of a return!

Everton, QPR and Villa are said to be interested in Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha.
