On loan Manchester United centre-half Axel Tuanzebe has taken to Instagram this week to post up a short video of his Aston Villa highlights.
The 21-year-old England Under 21 international has been sidelined since gaining an injury in training following our 2-2 draw with Stoke City back in mid-December and with 21 appearances to his name in 2018/19, he had also been an ever-present under new head coach Dean Smith, who benefited from moving him to his more natural position from right-back.
Having returned to his parent club for treatment, the hope is he will be back with us soon and his message certainly bolsters the hope that it will be sooner rather than later given how our promotion hopes have subsided given the results we’ve picked up since we lost Jack Grealish and him.
According to Smith’s press conference ahead of this weekend’s clash with Stoke City, Tuanzebe is expected back in early March and the hope is he’ll be available just after the international break.
