Banner Sunday At Villa Park?

Not sure if the threads on the various Villa sites are just hot air and talk, but it appears that the final game of the season could become ‘Banner Sunday’ as fans look to express their anger at yet another wasted season at Villa Park.

Villa take on Sunderland in the season finale looking to secure the points to finish the season 16th with 41 points. With Portsmouth just 1 point behind Villa are in a ‘battle’ not to take 17th. O’Leary already has the ‘distincition’ of guiding the team to our lowest ever Premiership points tally and following several comments about fans needing to ‘get real’ and ‘sugarbags’ and the ‘fickle’ accusations it appears the knives are out.

The last banners seen said ‘We aren’t fickle, we just don’t like you’ and ‘O’Leary Out’.

It will be interesting to see if the Ellis Out banners also appear, as for every managers faults there is only one common denominator. VFC had a Back the manager – Sack the board. Maybe that needs to be given over to a fan to change as they see fit. The B for back could always be made into an S I would think!

Anyway, several fans have emailed me to appeal to fans to bring banners and let their feelings be known, so here it is. Instead of looking at what others should do, buy a sheet, get some paint and have your say.
