Milan Baros thinks he will be fit for the Czech Republic’s two World Cup qualifiers on November 12 and 16.

He said: ‘I took part in a full training session today with the team (Villa). The Achilles’ tendon is not a constraint,’ Baros has not played for Villa since his Achilles’ tendon injury flared up again in September.

The Czech Republic coaching staff frustrated O’Leary by playing him in their 2-0 defeat by Holland which aggravated his injury.

Baros is also hoping to be in contention to play against his former club Liverpool on Saturday (5/11/05) saying: ‘If my Achilles’ tendon holds up, I would like to play from the start of the game.’
