Brief History of AVFC

As Mr Wade (Something for the Weekend) quite rightly points out in his latest post the world has become much more cynical. In an attempt to redress the balance I thought it was about time I shared something with you that I’ve been working on for a while. It’s not complete yet as it only goes up to the Autumn of 2006.

As I say, it’s not complete but for me it expresses what it’s like to be both a Villa Supporter and a Brummie. Some of you will not necessarily ‘get it’ but have a drink (or a toke) sit back and enjoy my view of Aston Villa and Birmingham for 10 minutes. The quality is reduced in order to minimize size but it’s still quite large so have patience whilst it loads.

Thanks to all of you who sent me photographs earlier this year – you may see them included. If you have photographs to be included in the next edition send them along or point me to where I can find them.

My only regret is that I didn’t publish this earliere in the year as it now looks as if I’m copying the Proud History Bright Future DVD but I can assure you I’m not (it’s just that I don’t have Randy’s budget so it took a while).

cheers and enjoy … Paul Johnson
