Steve Bruce has said that £20m would only be enough for Jack Grealish’s right leg after claims that our no.10 is being pursued by Leicester City.

The attacking midfielder has been an integral first-team player during the second half of the season, and speaking prior to the Ipswich win at the weekend, the manager said:

“Reports are going to be reports. I am going to have it all summer, I would think. I am delighted Jack is getting recognition for what he is doing on the pitch. But I think I can safely say £20m would not buy his right leg at the moment, that is for sure.”

Jack’s season was curtailed due to a kidney injury he sustained during a friendly back in July, but he has been a regular starter since December, and he has certainly been making up for lost time.

Three goals and five assists in 25 Championship matches this campaign is a pretty good return, considering the fitness problems he has had to endure.

He was again in the thick of the action to help us achieve a convincing 4-0 victory at Portman Road. With the play-offs the likely outcome with us four points off second with two games to go, the midfielder should be fresh to produce his best form at a crucial stage of the season.
