Bumper Villa Transfer Talk With Video!

A linked we mentioned yesterday has returned in the Sun today who say that both Aston Villa and Birmingham are after Anderlecht midfielder Lucas Biglia who today is rated at £8million. I say today because different reports and different reporters make up different valuations… oh the joy of transfer gossip!

This is a funny one and one that I really can’t see. The Guardian reckon Birmingham City are after Zat Knight. Well, they got Liam Ridgewell and Villa fans are still thanking him for his own goal…! BUT, Zat was a Villa fan as a kid, surely that makes the move to our local rivals unlikey? According to the report Alex McLeish would like the 29-year-old as well as Bobo Balde from Celtic.

I could see that one but unless we can seriously add to our numbers, do we want to let more players leave, especially players as versatile as Gardner? Must admit I’d love to see him get his chance in midfield but am not convinced he will at Villa. Hmmm. Difficult one, the lad will certainly want more regular football at this stage of his career but the moves from Villa to Blues is a very difficult one isn’t it?
