Charles N’Zogbia Wants Toon Exit

There is only one little scrap of gossip today and that comes (apparently) directly from Newcastle midfielder Charles N’Zogbia.

The 22-year-old told L’Equipe that his agent is in talks with Villa, Arsenal and Spurs. Expect a denial or a ‘misquoted’ story any day soon!

Anyway, apparently he was out of the Toon and said:

‘I’m at a turning point in my career right now. My agents are talking with Tottenham and Villa and, from what they’ve told me, Arsenal could also be in the frame. I have a preference for the Gunners, but they are three great clubs.’

Not sure he’ll have endeared himself to the Newcastle fans with this sort of quote, as if they haven’t got enough on their hands with Mike Ashley and Dennis Wise at the moment!
