  • We needed a leader, hope he’s fit enough and up to the rigours of this league to be that leader. I reckon this will end up his first steps into management.

  • Massive welcome to John Terry, hope you fully enjoy your time at AVFC as much as you did at Chelsea, and you have a very successful injury free season ahead. I hope you can draw on your experience and leadership qualities to help your new club, the Mighty

  • Totally with you cropped. JT has not come through football as a nice man and hasn’t been a leader for years. Therefore his worth is now just in the name. I can only hope he adds experience to the dressing room and perhaps tell some the players to calm do

  • Ps. He is more Small Heath fodder with his off the field antics in my opinion. Let’s hope I’m wrong and your enthusiasm rubs off…

  • More than ever we need to ensure youngsters learn from Terry, the never giving up, doing there jobs and a winning mentality , not the ‘pick up our money’ culture we’ve had from some.
