Ah deadline day for Aston Villa fans, it carries so much promise of us rarely doing anything, but we do get the entertainment of seeing most of the media fall over themselves to insist they have an exclusive nobody else knows about. Not least in previous years doing their best to not get upstaged by a bloke with a marital aid on his head. But this year we were reasonably busy on a loan front as Dominic Revan was the first to head out of Bodymoor Heath for a spell with Northampton Town.
Good luck, @DominicRevan17! π

Having spent the second half of the 2020/21 campaign out on loan with National League side Weymouth, 20-year-old Revan will now step up a level and look to impress again as he takes on a new challenge at the League Two side.
Having come through our ranks in recent years, the highly rated youngster made his first team debut as skipper in our FA Cup third round tie with Liverpool and he joins the Sixfields outfit with them sat in eighth place in the table.
He will be there initially until January.
Good luck Dom, come back all the better for it.
Weymouth fans will tell you be made a huge difference to their team last season on his loan until he unfortunately suffered a broken jaw and had to return to Villa. Can't see why he can't make the step up from National League to League Two.

Got high hopes for him. He went on loan last season too. Unfortunately he got injured part way through, but Weymouth's results and stats completely changed when he did play.

Been a very long time since Villa could loan out a large number of young players who have Prem potential.
Revan is solid. He needs to play.
Anyone who watched the FA Cup match can see he has a very high ceiling.— william gessler (@WilliamGessler) August 31, 2021
Looking forward to this chap being first team ready. Looks like such a good prospect. Leader on the pitch. Northampton will love him.
