Midfielder Joe Cole has tonight made the move to Coventry City on an emergency loan spell.
Having moved to us over the summer of 2014 as a free agent, 33 year old Cole has gone on to make a total of five starting appearances for us, with a further eleven from the bench.
The former England, West Ham, Liverpool and Chelsea player has scored once in the draw against Burnley last year.
This season he had only made one appearance for us in the Capital One Cup victory over Notts County and the last week or so has seen speculation about a loan move being made and that has come to pass.
He goes to the Ricoh on a 35 day deal and he’s set to meet up with them on Monday. The loan expires on November 22.
