James Collins has rubbished the rumours circulating that suggested he pulled out of the Welsh squad for their games against Switzerland and Bulgaria after missing out on the England clash.
Speaking to the Official Site Collins restated his desire to represent his country and he talked about his frustration at missing this round of matches because of a foot injury.
‘I am absolutely gutted to miss out for Wales because I want to play every game if I can. There was a bit of talk that I might have pulled out because I didn’t play in the last couple of games but that certainly wasn’t the case at all. I am actually injured so I am sad to be missing out.’
‘It hasn’t entered my head at all to quit playing for Wales. When I’m fit I’ll be there.’
