Sky Sports are reporting that Villa have told them we have no interest in Inter Milan winger Philippe Coutinho.
The rumours surrounding the player were sparked by his agent this week who claimed Aston Villa has enquired about his availability apparently, but the club have taken the unusual step of ‘informing Sky’ that no approach has been made for the Brazilian winger, and that he’s not on the list of players Paul Lambert is hoping to target this window.
I don’t think I’ve heard of him before to be honest, so I’ll have to let others comment on whether or not he is somebody we should be looking at.
