Crisis, What Crisis

OH WHAT A SHOCK. Villa will shelve plans to replace Bruce Langham until they find out what role Ellis will play following his triple heart by-pass. Yup, why let corporate governance get in the way of the jolly knees up we call the Villa board. Jeez, I’m pissed off with the incompetence of these idiots, to think they take money out of Villa for the privilege of running us like a joke.

Stride says ‘It will be irresponsible of the board to make plans for the chief executive until we know exactly what the chairman’s situation is.’

WHY? The Chairman is meant to be a separate role to the CEO, if only you all knew that we would be laughing. So now we don’t have a Chairman, we don’t have a CEO and we don’t have a finance director. We also only have half a team and the board don’t even appear to have half a clue.

Stride continues ‘It is something that will be determined and discussed when he returns to the club. I am quite sure he wants to come back to work but, as to whether his role will diminish at all, we will have to wait and see.’

WHY? Everything on hold for Ellis? He only owns 33%. Is he really the be all and end all of Villa? You are all pariahs at Villa, leaches sucking the life out of the club and draining the fans enthusiasm and love as you do it. Villa fans my arse, hang your heads in shame the board of AVFC.

‘Knowing him as I do, he certainly will be itching to come back. I think to be realistic he is hoping to be back for the first match of the new season on August 13.’

WHY? He is 81, has not been able to keep pace in the last 10 years and has preceded over mediocrity on the pitch and a disgraceful set of results and share performance off it. Just when will everyone wake up to what exactly is happening at this club? People moan at VFC, The Shareholders Association and even The Trust. Why not moan at the people ruining this club instead? Oh yes of course, that would be too difficult because you might then actually have to do something.

Those who are awake know that this club will go nowhere whilst Ellis and his henchmen (or should that be yes men?) are in charge. Never has, never will. I wish them a speedy exit otherwise they will find the once loyal fans will have found other interests to pursue because this is far too depressing to be called an enjoyable past time.

Crisis? What crisis? Certainly not in the bank accounts of the board of Aston Villa, that is for sure.
