A warning from the official site that I thought was worth repeating here:
Villa are advising season card holders who joined the club’s Cup Scheme after July 7 that the Intertoto home leg game will not be included as part of the package.
The club have an automated system where applicants who joined before that date were debited for the Intertoto Cup cost, with their season cards updated to allow access for the relevant game.
Card holders who joined after the specified date are advised to buy online, call into the Villa Ticket Office or contact 0800 612 0970 to secure their seat as Martin O’Neill’s men take their first step into European competition for six years.
The Cup Scheme is free-of-charge and allows season card holders to have the cost of tickets debited from their account for FA Cup, League Cup and European games without the need to contact the club before each game.
In other news, Villa’s Away Scheme – allowing season card holders guaranteed seats for league games away from Villa Park by just paying a £25 administration fee – is now full.
Tickets for away games will obviously still be available on a game-by-game basis.
