Dean Smith Is Determined To Avoid One Thing As New Head Coach Looks For Success – This Will Backfire

|

Dean Smith has sent his first social media message out to Aston Villa fans following Wednesday evening’s trio of appointments at the club.

John Terry obviously comes in as Assistant and Jesus Garcia Pitarch as Sporting Director.

It’s not uncommon for players to have their own social media accounts in today’s modern world, but it is strange for managers or head coaches and even then chairman and that ilk, where Dr Tony Xia and Peterborough’s Darragh McAnthony are proof that the trend can be bucked.

Anyway, getting back on points, I thought this was absolutely genius from Dean Smith and I, for one, applaud what has to be a very warped sense of humour.

I must admit our manager looks a little bit younger than I expected given the media photos I’ve seen lately, but I admire his enthusiasm and the humour as #CabbageDodger is almost genius like.

I just hope his inbox can deal with the occasional fallout in the losses that we all know we’ll suffer as our new gaffer gets his message across to the club.

I’d recommend you click the link, the responses made my night!

I’m hoping some of them were tongue in cheek and lost in translation…otherwise even as a Twitter newbie, I have concerns for humanity.

It’s not the real Dean Smith people!
