The 20-year-old versatile youngster returns to Bodymoor Heath for a second season-long loan spell with the club after his spell in the 2017/18 campaign. With the season seeing us end the year at Wembley with defeat in the Championship Play-Off final, Tuanzebe was largely irrelevant as he only made five appearances across the entire campaign.
It’s fair to say when called upon he didn’t really let us down, but neither did he really impress in his short time on the pitch. He was held back in some ways owing to niggly injuries though.
Given the summer we’ve had, seeing him return is no great surprise as he won’t need to settle in, he knows the club, the staff and the group, so we can probably expect to see him on a more regular basis really and then proper judgments can be made about him given the highly rated tag he carries.
Not a wow signing by any means, but another body in with the Championship season beginning for real later this evening.
The question becomes, who partners James Chester…
