oh dear, arguing about Peaky Blinders now! I mean, they have a point, it was the Small Heath area, but nevertheless, not really something to get upset over is it?!

No buts (or headbuts @DionDublinsDube 😂 ) Just a win. 7 on the trot is the aim, lets not let ‘them’ spoil the party. What we need to do to win:https://t.co/Npa46NagAv

What I think now is the fans might need to putting in some work as well. The atmosphere at times has been terrible. The team have responded this season, they are playing as a unit, they are showing they care. Us lot, away from home, are beyond comparison, a total cut above. At home? Well, sometimes we have a five minute sing song, but a lot of it is shhhhhhhhh.
The quicker standing comes back the better, that would help the atmosphere, but we can`t just sit back and wait. I know modern football has modern fans coming in just for the entertainment. But the rest of us, especially the North Lower and the Holte could do far, far better.

The good, the bad, and the incomprehensible…
Villa made it six wins in six on Saturday as they beat strugglers Burton Albion in what turned out to be a nail-biting goal-fest by the end. There had been much talk of banana-skins in the days building up to the game and the fact that Burton were kitted out in yellow and black for their visit to Villa Park, kind of reinforced the point. In the finality it turned out to be more Buster Keaton than banana-skin because despite a pair of calamitous mishaps things amazingly ended happily for Villa. Three classy goals and the three points were enough to gloss over the two horrendous errors, and everyone went home happy, even if their hair might still have been standing on end, after Burton’s belated second gift of a goal. If Villa’s solid away performance had suggested Villa were now in a ruthless frame of mind these days, the Burton game created a few nagging doubts. Read more: Something For The Weekend (602)

Chief Executive Keith Wyness has confirmed that Aston Villa are playing a role in exploring an opportunity for a tie up with Danish Superliga side Lyngby Boldklub. The speculation linking Dr Tony Xia and Aston Villa to the side in Denmark has been well covered:

How Could Aston Villa Benefit From Xia’s Expansion Plans?
Wyness has however now confirmed that potential moves are afoot, but it’s far from straight forward.

Just in case you haven’t already seen the information doing the rounds. Pretty sure I’ve seen that Villa fans are being directed to use Aston Station and Blues Witton Lane as well. Is that right @WMPVillaFC ?#AVFC #UTV https://t.co/RSPtUJhtGO

Thought for the day: “When my castle was under attack I sent out my last remaining knight to do battle and shouted ‘I will never give in’.. My enemy answered ‘is that your final lancer?!’.’
