Well there was a game in our recent disasterous history, it’s a quiet day, I suppose I better say something about our manager’s thoughts on it.

Official Site.

Paul Lambert believes we have to dust ourselves up and die again before we entertain Newcastle – and at the moment, yes we will be their entertainment won’t we. Fair enough he didn’t actually say that.

‘It’s not great, but you have to keep going. You take your medicine, pick yourself up and go again. There’s no way you can lie down. I don’t think we deserved to lose it, I didn’t see that coming.’

He then blames individual errors of individual players for the loss.

So to save everyone some time, just remember what PL has said following every game recently and then you won’t have to read it again.

He also says we bossed the game with the possession, before repeating himself that individual errors are costing us.

Which I suppose is right, I’ve just looked at the stats again (and wished I hadn’t) and yes we ‘bossed’ them by 4% in the possession charts…quick get your streamers, dust off the party poppers and prepare to get jiggy with it folks!

4% let’s praise the footballing Gods!

Even better than that, we also had more corners, fouls and yellow cards…happy days!

Sorry is sarcasm still the lowest form of wit?

You can tell why I didn’t do this Friday night, it’s possible every fourth word may have been one from a dictionary.

Unfortunately though our bossing of the game didn’t translate into anything that could resemble being mildly useful on a football field.

Damn those chances, shots on target and pesky goals. If only they didn’t count eh.

PL then talks about tiredness, the Premier League being the most important thing, and well frankly, I can’t be arsenaled to say anything else.

Millwall Match Thread for the masochistic amongst us.

I’m off to take my medicine like he said.

As of yet there is no further update on Fabian Delph’s injury.
