England reprieve for Warnock?

According to Vital England, Stephen Warnock ‘could’ be going to the world cup afterall?

Vital England says: You would think that Stephen Warnock having failed to play a single minute of football for England during the friendlies against Mexico and Japan would rule him out of contention for the final 23, right?

Not to mention the fact that only 5 minutes or so have actually been played by Warnock in international football full stop – and even that was previously called into question, over ‘validity fears’ of the Trinidad game back along anyway.

Well, ‘reports’ are growing this morning that the Villa man ‘could’ make the final cut afterall…

To be honest I think that Warnock is the better option, as back up to Ashley Cole, than Leighton Baines although the afore mentioned thoughts of a lack of involvement ‘seemed’ to signal an end to his chances of going to South Africa, then again perhaps not?

Maybe, just maybe, the thing that ‘might’ tip the scales in Warnock’s favour could be the ill-timed and ill-advised thoughts of ‘homesickness’ shared by the Everton man last week – probably not the wisest of things to have shared on the eve of a world cup finals being played on the other side of the world…

This is just a sample (feel free to leave comments here and there, using your same vital logins on each), from Vital England.
