Aston Villa returned to winning ways on Saturday afternoon, beating Ipswich Town 2-1 thanks to a brace from Tammy Abraham. The 21-year-old took his tally to 19 goals for the season and came away with a lot of praise from supporters. He broke the deadlock after converting Conor Hourihane’s free-kick and scored from the spot for his second goal.
Abraham has enjoyed a fantastic campaign at Villa Park since joining on loan from Chelsea over the summer, and even turned down the chance to join Wolverhampton Wanderers in January. He was elevated in fans’ minds after that incident and his brilliant performances continue to garner compliments on social media.
Played brilliantly as per today Tammy!

Tammy you are a credit to the club. A loan player but you play like it’s your boyhood club

The England u21 international has kept the likes of Jonathan Kodjia and Scott Hogan on the bench and could be inundated with offers at the end of the season. Abraham is still only young and has enjoyed two outstanding campaigns in the Championship and has been rewarded for his decision to snub a Premier League side in the winter transfer window.
His goals will give Villa a glimmer of hope in achieving playoffs this season.
