Aston Villa Academy graduate Callum O’Hare is having another good spell out on loan this season following his summer switch to Coventry City and he’s had few struggles stepping up to life in League One following his impressive time in League Two in 2018/19 with Carlisle United.
Having created a few headlines already at the laughably named Trillion Trophy Stadium following his performances for manager Mark Robins, in last weekend’s clash with Bolton Wanderers, the 21-year-old took the headlines for a slightly more gruesome reason.

O’Hare himself seemed in pretty good spirits on social media after the incident, (he did go on to complete the 90 minutes in the game as well) and was making his own Harry Potter references – as many fans were.
I bet it hurts today now the adrenaline has warn off 😩 O’Harey Potter 😆 pic.twitter.com/wUKgbDXpnG

Plenty of fans will be hoping to see him get handed a new deal in the coming months given his continued progress and although Villa fans were quick to react to his Tweet, soldiering on has certainly done him no harm with Coventry fans either.
Just a flesh wound.

What a hero for carrying on. You are definitely in the mould of a Coventry legend, big George Curtis. You are far to young to remember him 😁
