Aston Villa have confirmed that the FA Youth Cup tie against Manchester City this midweek will be screened on the clubs’ Facebook channel.
The sixth round clash takes place on Wednesday February 22 and it kicks off at Villa Park at 7pm.
Having booked our place in the sixth round courtesy of a seven nil victory over Broxbourne Borough, having seen off Bristol City and Blackburn Rovers in the previous rounds, we face Lee Carsley’s City side who were runners up in the competition last year and they took a four nil victory over Southampton in their fifth round tie.
The game will begin to be screened on the Facebook channel ‘avfcofficial’ from 6.45pm tomorrow evening.
Should we make it through we will face a semi final two legged affair against either Preston North End or Stoke City as their sixth round tie takes place on Monday February 27.
As ever, entry for the game will be free at B6 for Season Ticket holders and non Season Ticket holders will likely be £4 adults and £1 U18s – least that was the price for the last round – with Season Ticket holders asked to book their ticket in advance so the club could have an idea of expected gate.
