The Football Association confounded all fans today by revealing they will be doing sweet FA against Joey Barton for raising his hand to Gabby’s face last night.

Amazing to think that there would’ve been any other outcome really.

Whilst Graham Poll was clear is was a sending off offence, at least I’m sure that’s what he said, he could’ve recommended 3 yellow cards or if Barton played in red he should receive a medal for all I know, Steve known by most as Gordon Bennett said once seeing the event he didn’t deem it a sending off offence so no action should be taken retrospectively.

Nice of him eh.

Raise your hand to another players face and make contact and it’s not even a yellow card? I’ll remember that argument from our esteemed role models in football when I ‘flick’ a passing pensioner in the street.

Wonder what would’ve happened if it would’ve been done by a Villa player to Barton?

Issue done and dusted anyway, move on nothing to see here, certainly not a pair of balls from the FA at any rate.

Barton’s laughing all the way to the Bank isn’t he, let alone the fact his 6 match ban is STILL suspended for his clash for Dabo.
