Blimey, just how do we keep doing it? It is no wonder the Aston Villa youth system get fed up.

Former Villa goalkeeper Boaz Myhill has been the subject of a story in the Sun today. The report says that Hull chairman Adam Pearson has put a £2million price tag on the shot stopper in the hopes that he will fend off interest from both Arsenal and Wigan. We sold him in December 2003 for £50 000.

Every report I read on the American born keeper said how highly rated he was and I was surprised when Villa let him leave. Myhill could play for England or America if my memory serves me right. Myhill, who has made 22 appearances for Hull this season and 90 in total, is now attracting interest from the Premiership.

Villa will get the chance to play against him and test just how good he is (!) on January 7th as we face Hull in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. (At the KC Stadium, BBC live game)
