September was a bit of a mixed month for Aston Villa fans. No reward for a very good Chelsea performance. A second half of delight against Everton (nobody mention the first half) and then massive EFL Cup disappointment against Chelsea again where we could’ve easily won. Oh yes, ending the month with a well deserved victory over Manchester United.
The expected, but hugely frustrating, ups and downs of a side in transition looking to take the next step and develop some real consistency.
There were some utterly fantastic goals across the month though and with the interruption break with us once more – why not watch them again and decide on your Goal of the Month.

The four picked out by the Official Site are:
Matty Cash – v Everton
Leon Bailey – v Everton
Cameron Archer – v Chelsea
Kortney Hause – v Manchester United
September's Goal Of The Month
Matty Cash
Leon Bailey
Cameron Archer
Kortney Hause
For me, it’s got to be Archer’s sublime header but Hause sticking it to United and the subsequent Ole Gunnar Solskjaer meltdown does run a close second.
The Official Vote closes at some point tomorrow for those who want to take part – I just enjoyed watching them again.
