On loan goalkeeper Gabor Kiraly is aiming to play in the Premiership again regularly.

The Hungary international, who made his debut for Villa yesterday against dirty dirty Bolton and was untested short of having to face a penalty, said:

‘My contract at Palace finishes in the summer and every player wants to play at the top level. I want to do so again. Of course, I am happy when I am given a big challenge. I have played 13 years as a professional and I have almost 550 games in total, including with the national team, in the Champions League, the UEFA Cup, everything. If possible, I want to play in the Premier League again. If not, it is a big challenge in the Championship and to try to get promotion.’

‘But this a good chance for me. People will know me, my mistakes, my saves. I am not new for football and this is a good opportunity for me in the Premier League.’

Before his debut he said, with Manchester United and Chelsea looming large in the fixture list ‘…regardless of the opposition, every game for a ‘keeper involves one job – you must catch the ball and keep clean sheets. For me it doesn’t matter if it is a friendly or a Champions League game. Every game is the same. You must keep the ball out, have good communication with your players and you must win.’
