Gabby Agbonlahor could add to his single England Under-21 cap tonight against Germany. Gabby’s dream season continued on Friday when he came off the bench to feature in the European Championship Play-Off first-leg, (England won 1-0 advantage) and now he is looking for more!

He told the official site: ‘It’s been a dream start to the season for me. I didn’t want last season to end, because I’d just broken into the squad. But I was determined to build on that when I came back for pre-season. We had the change of manager, but I made sure I stayed in the side. There’s a massive difference between playing for Villa now and when I came into the side last season. Confidence is really high and we’re going into games believing we can win.’

The 19-year-old, who has more pace than Mr Pace from Paceville added,

‘To get the England Under-21 call-up is the icing on the cake, but I know that I have to stay focused on my club form. That’s what got me the call-up and that’s what I have to concentrate on.’
