Gardner Blues Bid Rejected

Martin O’Neill has confirmed that Birmingham City have had a bid for Craig Gardner rejected.

The bid is rumoured elsewhere to be in the region of £3 million.

Despite not playing a part in the team lately, Monny is adamant he doesn’t want Craig to go but to be fair it looks more like Craig is off, and Monny just wants a better price.

‘Birmingham City have made a bid. As it stands, (it) hasn’t been accepted.’

Monny continues to talk about Craig wanting first team action and that in his time here he references players who have left who didn’t make a contribution to the club while they were here. You can make your own minds up who he means there. But that obviously doesn’t apply to Craig.

‘I would be sorry to see him go, but he wants to play now and I accept that.’
