Given Delighted To Be Back

Shay Given has said he was delighted to be back on the pitch today, but he thought we deserved all 3 points.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the boredraw against Everton, the 35 year old keeper said.

‘It’s been a long, long six weeks but I’m delighted to be playing again. I would like to thank the medical team for getting me back fit, I’m not a good patient so I’m delighted to get back. I felt we deserved to win the game but we switched off.’
