“Grandma’s Mailbox” – Villa Striker Delights Plenty Of Fans After Trip To London

|

It’s not unfair to say that big money Aston Villa summer signing, Wesley, has had a slow and mixed start to life at Villa Park following his reported £22million arrival from Club Brugge.

The 22-year-old came in with high expectations and almost instant Christian Benteke references, but as we all know, Benteke took time to settle and adjust and Wesley has been no different. Following our fantastic 5-1 victory over Norwich City in the Premier League he does now have four goals and one assist to show for his efforts across eight top flight games, and everyone hopes Norwich was a sign of more to come from him.

One of the other stories to come out of the Norwich clash, was Prince William and family cheering on from the stands and head coach Dean Smith joked post-game that they could be a lucky charm and that he might get them ‘on the team bus’ for future games.

Wesley seems to have followed that up at the weekend, as during a trip to London, the Brazilian took to Instagram to comment.

“Hey Will, dropping some tickets for our next game in your grandma’s mailbox. See you at Villa Park mate!”

It seems it went over very well with fans!
