The Daily Mail say we have failed in a £3million bid for 20-year-old Denmark international Jores Okore. Apparently we`ve bid £3million and Nordsjaelland value him at around £5million.

Fulham and QPR are also said to be looking at the signature.

That ties in with this page on the Transfer Thread…. Click Here. Kmitch says: Danes on Villa Talk have said rumors around Denmark are that Jores Okore has missed most of training with the national team today & that the deal is almost all done, pending a medical. His club is waiting until Tuesday (start of the Danish transfer window) to announce the signing.

And if you read down, it seems the player is rated!

Video of him:

Villa have also confirmed they have signed 16-year-old Torquay striker Liam Prynn.

I`m not sure I can be bothered with this Benteke stuff you know. He either wants to stay and does, or doesn`t and goes (for a fat cheque) … I`m SO over it…. Well, Ok, I am bothered, he should want to stay and be a Villa legend but…. Anyway, a little summary of some of the Benteke stories and Lambert telling him it would be a mistake to leave on:

Lambert has apparently said: ‘Christian is a top lad, but outside influences can be pretty dangerous for any player. He`s a 22-year-old with a man`s physique, but without yet having developed a man`s brain.”
