The youngster, who has forced his way well and truly onto the scene this season, has now got a deal keeping him at Villa Park until 2020.
The 19-year-old (God I`m jealous!) has told the official site that it is a ‘great feeling` to have a new deal with the club.
Adding, “This is another milestone for me this season – I had my first start and my full league debut then an international call-up and this is another one.”
Looks like he has his head well and truly screwed on as well, lets hope, because he says he knows the hard work has to continue.
I remember talking to an ex player who blew his chance (not at Villa before you ask) explaining that once he got his first professional contract he thought he was the bees knees, that he`d arrived. He was soon without a contract and working nights. The hard work starts when you get to or near the top. Let that be a warning to all of us. *Tumbleweed as everyone wonders – what the hell is Fear on about now*
