Great Season Ticket Packs For All But The Moaners

As we mentioned yesterday, the deadline for renewing season tickets is Friday and then the great re-location can start for those that want to!

Mike also mentioned the season ticket packages in passing within his article but I thought I`d highlight them in isolation, mainly because of the few who seem to be moaning and slating the club no matter what they do.

This is the pack we can expect as season ticket holders:



I said for years, as did many others, that season ticket holders SHOULD be treated well, should be made to feel ‘special` because we put our money up front no matter what comes each season.

It seems for some, slating the club is just all they can do. Every single thing. Everything said, everything done, anyone signed, any manager. Blimey, some could make a living out of hating. I bet some blue noses could find more positives than these folks.

The season ticket welcome pack looks great to me. I am not a great saver of things, so bits and bobs no doubt will be given away to Villa mates kids. The most important thing is the actual ticket, cool, we all know that. But the rest is just nice. Anything else you don`t like, just put it to one side, or bin it, ffs, it isn`t life and death is it? Some say reduce the price and don`t send the packs. Well, they aren`t going to lower the already low prices, this is a value added ‘gift` if you don`t want the rest of it, take out your ticket and shelve the rest.

Simples.

Personally, I like the badges. Yup, a 43 year old bloke and I like badges. That might be sad, but nowhere near as sad as the constant club knockers.

Then again, you see, I don`t think I ever got the memo saying that pr is a bad thing. Nothing wrong with trying to get good public relations and goodness knows, after last season, there are bridges to be mended.

Ramble over, I`m just sick of the conspiracy theorists and knockers of this great club. Some seem to hate the Club. Shame, I love it and I fully intend (as attempted and failed last season) to squeeze every minute of fun out of the upcoming season home and away.

The season ticket packs for those that like nice things and don`t want to moan all the time?

Villa are sending out special season ticket loyalty badges, which we urge fans to wear on matchdays to help them stand out from the crowd.

The badges are silver but fans who have held a season ticket for ten consecutive years will receive a gold one.

For adults:

Free access to AVTV, the club’s in-house television channel.

The return of the popular voucher book.

Fixture card.

Seat plaque

Window sticker.

A junior pack includes the loyalty badge, stencils, temporary tattoos, fold-out poster, voucher book, fixture card, seat plaque and window sticker.

Shame on the Villa for doing that. Shame on them I say!

And if you want to pay for your season ticket over six months, the deadline is Friday in person/ by post and Thursday online.
