Aston Villa are apparently second favourites to sign England international Joe Hart.
With a deal still to be done for Manchester United’s Sam Johnstone as that rumbles on, the bookies believe that we are about to secure another coup following on from John Terry and they have us as second favourites to land the stopper with his future still lying away from Manchester City and the Etihad Stadium under Pep Guardiola.
With it being made clear to him last summer that he basically had no future at the club he spent last season out on loan with Italian side Torino, keeping five clean sheets in 36 Serie A matches.

The market appears both permanent transfer and loan based, hence our involvement, but it would certainly be another huge statement of intent although you certainly have to question the financial aspects of this coming off.
